About Me

Welcome to Kindred Canines! I'm Meghan, and I founded this company in 2019. With a BSc (Hons) in Equine Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation, an enhanced DBS and plenty of accredited canine CPD certificates (including canine first aid), I am dedicated to upholding the highest standards of animal welfare as well as providing a reliable and friendly service.

Whilst I initially worked with horses, I transitioned my career to focus on dogs, and I love making a positive difference in their lives through my work. I spent six years managing dog day care centres, where I truly enjoyed providing animals with enriching activities and new experiences throughout the day. Animal behaviour and learning theory particularly interests me, I love watching the subtle ways animals communicate when I'm working with them. I pride myself on being friendly and patient, ensuring every animal feels comfortable and cared for. Having had pets all of my life, I am comfortable handling many types of animals and I look forward to meeting all of your beloved pets!

What Clients Say

Meghan has worked wonders on our lab Frank. Before we started training with her, we were worried about walking him because of his pulling and boisterousness. We saw hope within the first session and the progress was amazing over the next few weeks. We now confidently walk him off  and on lead and don't need to worry about him running off or pulling anymore!
